Omega Speedmaster Automatic "Reduced" 3510.50.00

Sale price$3,400.00

The Speedmaster Reduced has quietly become one of the most compelling values in vintage chronographs. Long overshadowed by its manually wound Moonwatch sibling, the "Reduced" has come to be appreciated for its compact proportions, automatic chronograph movement, and unmistakable Speedmaster design language.

This early-1990s example retains its correct Omega Ref. 1469 bracelet with matching 811 end links and is offered with its original Omega presentation box and operating booklet. Prior to being presented for sale, the watch underwent a full mechanical service in June 2026.

Particularly interesting is the dial. Rather than the more commonly encountered “T SWISS MADE T” signature found on many tritium-era Omega watches, this example is signed simply “SWISS MADE.” Collector research indicates Omega produced a number of tritium-era dials across several references without explicit “T” markings, although the Speedmaster Reduced remains less thoroughly documented than the Moonwatch family.

The luminous hour plots have aged to a warm cream tone and exhibit little remaining luminosity, consistent with a tritium-era example. The resulting patina gives the dial the warmth and character many collectors seek in vintage Omega watches, while the hour and minute hands display mild luminosity under direct light exposure. Together with its honest case, original Hesalite crystal, and period-correct bracelet, this is a well-preserved and thoughtfully documented example of one of Omega’s most approachable modern classics.
